Rotor Analysis Diagnostic System (RADS / AVA)

Modified on Fri, 10 Nov 2023 at 04:45 AM

Introduction

The Rotor Analysis Diagnostic System (RADS) also known as the Aviation Vibration Analyzer (AVA) offers a 'single-shot' diagnostics capability. This enables the operator to minimize multi-axis main and tail rotor once-per-rev vibration and main rotor relative track across the flight envelope by the automatic calculation and recommendation of simultaneous multiple rotor blade adjustments (pitch link, hub-weight and tab as applicable) - all based on a single flight.
